I am overjoyed and deeply humbled to share that Caridon Group has been named the ‘Best Social Housing Provider’ at the prestigious Landlord Investment Show (LIS) Awards 2024. The ceremony, held at the historic De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London, was an incredible evening celebrating the finest achievements in the landlord and property investment sector.
This award means so much to me personally because it reflects the heart of what Caridon stands for – providing innovative and sustainable housing solutions that not only improve lives but also build stronger, more connected communities.
When I founded Caridon Group in 2009, it all began with a single act of compassion: helping a homeless individual find a stable home. That simple moment inspired me to create a rent guarantee scheme, one of the first of its kind in London, to ensure landlords could confidently house those in need. Little did I know it would be the foundation for a journey that has led us to house over 10,000 individuals and families.
A Model Built on Impact
At Caridon, we’ve always believed that housing is more than just a roof over someone’s head. It’s a foundation for opportunity, well-being, and dignity. That’s why we’ve worked tirelessly to expand our services and offer tailored solutions through initiatives like:

What sets Caridon apart is our focus on building communities and creating spaces where people can truly thrive. Through the work of our dedicated Community Engagement Officers, we’ve introduced wellness programs, hosted football matches, organised summer barbeques, and offered themed coffee mornings featuring everything from job fairs to health workshops.
I’m especially proud of our partnerships, like the one with the Palace for Life Foundation, which provides football training and mentoring to inspire young people.
Winning the ‘Best Social Housing Provider’ award is not just a moment of celebration – it’s a moment of reflection and renewed determination. It’s a recognition of the hard work, vision, and passion of every member of the Caridon team. This accolade fuels us to keep pushing boundaries, finding new ways to deliver sustainable housing, and offering hope to those who need it most.
For me, this journey has always been about impact. From helping councils reduce temporary accommodation costs by providing long-term solutions, to empowering tenants with the tools they need to build better futures, every step we take is guided by a commitment to meaningful change.
