Last week was one of those moments that remind me why I do what I do. Attending the London Community Excellence Awards alongside my daughter, Sienna, was truly special and not just because of the incredible talent and passion in the room.

Sienna was nominated for the Rising Music Star Excellence Award, and let me tell you, she absolutely smashed it with her performance. Watching her take the stage and receive her award was a proud moment I’ll never forget. But the night held an unexpected twist for me too. I was honoured to receive the Honorary Award for Business for Housing Enterprise 2025.

Sharing that moment with Sienna made the occasion all the more meaningful. It’s not often you get to celebrate family and professional achievements side by side, and I’m grateful to Charles Gordon and the London Community Excellence Awards team for recognising the work we do at Caridon.

This award isn’t just a personal milestone; it reflects the dedication of everyone involved in Caridon’s mission to build better housing and stronger communities. It’s a reminder that success isn’t just about business, it’s about impact, about giving back, and about lifting others along the way.

Thank you to everyone who supports us on this journey. Here’s to continuing to make a difference together.
